AronChupa – I’m an Albatraoz

Whenever you hear a song has been big in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands, you know it’s time to prepare for a UK explosion.

This morning, probably for the first time on mainstream UK radio, I played a track from a chap called AronChupa. He’s a Swedish DJ, singer-songwriter, footballer, music producer. He is the main pillar of electro hip-hop group Albatraoz.

Hang on… footballer? I kid you not, this guy also plays football for Swedish fourth division team Byttorps IF.

This track is huge and is about to blow up big time. It straddles cool and cheesy like never before and could easily come with a silly Gangnam Style dance. Truth is, this guy is way too cool… and wickedly talented.

Remember the name, once you’ve learned how to pronounce it.
