The Late Show: All I Want For Christmas is SOME GIRLS NUMBERS
I’ve never been good at ‘getting the girl’. In fact, it’s a miracle I have one at all. So imagine my joy when JLS’s ‘Hottest Girl in the World’ came into our lives and gave me a chance to use it’s poetic lyrics to sweep the ladies off their feet.
It didn’t work. I took a different approach and tried again a few weeks later with Girls Aloud. That didn’t work either. All I managed to do was humiliate myself on the radio.
As it’s Christmas, and because I don’t give up easily (or know what’s good for me), I decided to give it a go with Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas’. Hopefully the power of Mariah and the festive cheer in the air will bring me more luck!
