Hattie on BBC Radio 1

When people ask me how my girlfriend, Hattie, is getting on… I talk and talk to the point that everybody becomes a little nauseous. For this, I apologise. It’s only because I’m bursting with pride.

At 4am on Friday 29th March (this Good Friday), I’ll set my alarm for 4am to listen as she lives a dream. As a result of winning Best Female at the prestigious Student Radio Awards last year, Hattie will walk with giants and present early breakfast on LIVE on BBC Radio 1.

If you’ve ever listened to her weekend early breakfast show on XFM, you’ll know that she is absolutely incredible. She’s been working with arguably one of the best producers in UK radio, former producer of The Chris Moyles Show, Aled Jones and the stuff she has lined up looked wicked.

It’s all getting a bit nauseating again so I’ll wrap up and we can all get on with our lives… but if I were you, I’d make the effort to be awake at 4am on Friday morning and have Radio 1 on loud. You won’t regret it.
