The Who Like One Direction
Pete Townsend, of old school rockers The Who, has denied claims that the band were considering legal action against One Direction.
There was outrage from 1D fans on Twitter when rumours spread that The Who would sue the band for using parts of their 1971 track ‘Baba O’Riley’ in single Best Song Ever.
Townsend issued a statement saying “I like the single. I like One Direction”.
So Harry, Nail, Liam, Louis and Zayn can add The Who to their list of unlikely fans.
