Bastille – Of The Night

We gave the new Bastille tune a spin on this morning’s show and the reaction was huge.

The band have reworked Corona’s The Rhythm of the Night in a mash up with Snap’s Rhythm Is a Dancer while on paper that sounds like it shouldn’t work, the Bastille stamp and Dan Smith’s immense vocal make for something special.

Of The Night features on their ‘Other People’s Heartache’ mixtape and is set to be huge. I can already sense myself becoming a little bit obsessed by its haunting feel.
