Vinyl Sales Reach High

UK sales of Vinyl have reached a 10-year high.

It’s thanks to artists like David Bowie and Daft Punk issuing new releases on the format, sparking sales of 532,000, a year-on-year increase of over 100%.

And the resurgence is expected to continue with Jake Bugg and Arcade Fire both releasing Vinyl LP’s in the run up to Christmas and music store HMV giving away 7″ promo for The Beatles at their Oxford Street store.
