Britain’s Got Talent dance troupe Diversity have sparked over 15,000 complaints after a dance routine that referenced recent social issues, including the Black Lives Matter movement.
Broadcaster Russ Kane joined me on talkRADIO this weekend to ask if politics has a place on entertainment TV.
Diversity’s act was a statement on politics, social issues and their own life experience.
Strip those things from entertainment TV – music and dance – and you aren’t left with much.
